DUNCAN OF NEW SKYE
2011
Drummondene (Imp) X Unity of Mendick (Imp)
14.2 hds and 1200#
About a year ago, I was approached by the owner of this wonderful stallion in regards to obtaining ownership of him. He felt that he would benefit the Highland's on the West Coast and appreciated how I try to get the ponies to large equestrian venues for people to meet. I fell in love with his grandsire, Moss-Side Campsieglen when I first was getting into Highlands. To own one of his grandson's was an amazing proposition. I went into partnership with two other wonderful ladies and Duncan lives at Trinityglen Highland ponies for 18 months and is available for breeding through AI, cooled and Frozen. His other home is in beautiful Wyoming, where he will live for an 18 month period of time. He is available to approved mares at both homes. Duncan has been in Wyoming for the past 10 months and is expecting one foal out of Ceol Beag Lismore this year, 2020. The first pictures are very soon after getting off of the 2-day transport, cool as a cucumber. My 19-year-old paint gelding is rather smitten with him and they have become instant friends. While Duncan is at Trinityglen, I plan on getting him working well under saddle as well as in harness. Duncan is a very big uphill mover and is quite beautiful to watch.
Duncan is available at Trinityglen Highlands for AI, cooled and frozen. His stud fee is $1200, which includes the first collection and shipping. Any additional collections that may be needed for the same mare would be the cost of the collection fee and shipping to your perspective area. There is a $300 booking fee with the balance to be paid at time of first collection.
