Hilde is small and just a yearling right now but this little lady is mighty. Her dam, Annie, was very keen at having her babies earlier than planned, usually at 318. Miss Hilde was born at day 315 during one of our coldest days and Annie had leaked out all of her colostrum prior to her birth. We had to do the madigan squeeze on this lovely lady and give her a unit of plasma to give her the kickstart to want to survive. Ever since she has been a strong little lady.
She is the last foal of Annie Oakley and Circle H Glen Livit and has been retained for breeding. She is a beautiful little lady and we are excited to see how she grows and develops. She is currently going through the teenage gangly and awkwardness thus pics are hit and miss, but she is still a pretty little one.
